and normal STRESS is MSI KOMBUSTOR "GAMING STRESS"
not PRIME95 or XTU
3d render + "4 - 6" cores -ONLY
for stability - all cores "but get overheat"
gaming notebook - gaming stress
old RTX - 87C max - 85C
cpu 90C - 94C "90C stable max" for performance
try fan setup - cooler/booster first time // cpu profile - DC or CUSTOM
good luck
edit .,., monitor -any OSD or HWINFO - SENSOR in background ! -
-
use bios for correct setup
or verify all after setup ! -

Thermal Paste Roundup 2021 -
Laptop cooling systems work together and there are 2 fans (disgustingly weak) that need to cool 2 components.
This leads us to examine a problem present on laptops: the heat absorbed by the heatsinks remains more unseeded time for longer than the desktop one. Bringing thermal paste to work at higher temperatures and for longer, that's why the pump out effect is much more pronounced on laptops than on desktops (almost absent to be honest).
Never compare desktop results for a laptop choice, they don't have the same effectiveness.
On laptops, you should always demand a thermal paste with the prerequisites:
-High viscosity (for pump out)
-High burn out resistance (support temperatures 250-300 °C high)
-Obviously a sufficiently high thermoconductive capacity (remember that the shorter the distance between the heat sink and the cpu the greater the thermal conduction)
-A good duration in terms of time of use (1 year).Papusan and yrekabakery like this. -
it is for inspiration what is currently used in 2021
,,.no thermal paste will help him "now have TG kryo ,.,.,OK !!" ,.,,.,must use custom SETUP for CPU
disable i-gpu
undervolt + clock limit "under power limit" for best results
ideally try any CORE sleep setup ,,.C-states custom "more aggressive" or PARKING CORES app
CPU 8/16 -- impossible fully use in notebook "real TDP 150w above"
// undervolt D-gpu
the only problem is that it doesn't come notebook fully functional from the factory

,..,,.now have results ???
cpu power vs temperatures ??? GE ?? 45w-65W max or lower !!! -
I have send the laptop to warranty for charger replacement since it was dropping out on load but idiots at service center said it is a motherboard issue and I am waiting for a motherboard replacement that will take 2-4 WEEKS since they do not even hold the parts so I will go through this thermal paste kerfuffle again
cpu will gladly use more than 100w and gpu used 115w without VRM and general efficiency losses so they can cook eggs
-
100w is to much for your system // cooling option for CPU
GE is still small notebook
AC problem ,..,AC must be directly on WALL !!
90-100./. recharge cycle --full power
///edit
EC reset is tested ?
https://www.xoticpcforums.com/forum...resetting-your-laptops-ec-embedded-controller -
when need draw power "on edge PSU -230w"
AC on wall ,..,minimal wear level on battery / 90-100./. cycle
AC / DC - MSI ,.,recharge works .,,,but still draw battery level in this usage
edit ,,my maximum for 230w system is 255w
100w cpu / 125w gpu / 30w system ,.,little more - shutdown
CPU lock / voltage curve - try little lower usage / performance is identical
PSU stress - best MSI KOMBUSTOR
CPU / GPU stress + memory test --this kill PSU -
Undervolt your CPU using throttlestop, I have mine at -300, doing windows updates I am in low 60s playing games at 90+ utlitzation I rarely go over 75-80
MSI GE75 worse temps after repaste
