Probably one of the models from the 900 series I recommended the most. Unless you need extreme performance, this one will do just about anything you need.

    Microcenter right?

I bought that laptop for $999 there almost 3 months ago.

It's a great laptop but IMO overpriced at $1099. With the 10 series out I wouldn't pay more than $999 possibly less.

The i5 will bottleneck the 970m when overclocked in certain games and be a total bottleneck regardless I'm others. I saw it myself and it pissed me off knowing it was restricting GPU usage and performance.

Like the others have said it's a great laptop at a decent price. But consider that after taxes you're closing in on a 1060 version from Newegg with $0 taxes and the 1060 has a 6700hq and will smoke this laptop.
