    Hello,

I've got an MSI GE60, the version with the 660M graphics card. I'd love to be able to have a pre-boot password with full-disk encryption.

Does this model have a TPM module in it? I don't any options for it in the BIOS and the Windows TPM Administration console can't find it.

Is there perhaps a BIOS update I need, or is this feature just not there?

    Thanks!

I don't believe that this model has a TPM chip. That is usually a standard for business laptops and a vpro CPU. Anybody else care to chime in?

your correct, very few if any consumer laptops have a TPM as far as I know.
and it is not a BIOS upgradable type thing as it is contained on a separate chip on the motherboard
