So yesterday I decided to clean install Windows 10 on my GE60.

Windows 10 is running just fine, but I can´t boot into BIOS via DEL Button. There is just a Black Screen with a White Dash.

I called MSI Support Germany and they told me, no Notebook is currently ready for Win 10. Win 10 damaged the BIOS and I need to RMA it.

I advise everybody to not install Windows 10 currently.

I have the exact same issue, wow I thought it was just me. Are you able to still use the OS because I am? MSI should have tested this. I had all the insider previews and never had this problem until so-called RTM.

Then choose to change firmware settings, it should boot automatically in the bios.

I am still able to use the OS. I am waiting for the time I don´t need the notebook every day so I can RMA it.

Alternatively, you can hold down the shift key while clicking on "Restart." Saves you quite a few clicks.

You don't have to send it in. I fixed my issue by myself as i had the same problem as yours. To reset BIOS, take off the computer. Unplug it, take out the battery, then hold the power button for 10 seconds. This is the special part...take out the HDD. Plug in the laptop, start it (without HDD in), and BIOS should pop up. Update BIOS or leave it if you want. Unplug laptop and insert your battery back in and HDD. BIOS should now function like it should. Try it before sending it out. It worked for me as MSI only gave me little details and missing steps. These guys don't know who to reset their own laptop BIOS hardware wise. I took out the hard drive out of curiousity and it worked out for me.

You know what... yesterday I started the PC and the BIOS came up. Somehow it is working again without me doing anything. Now I updated the BIOS and I am going to clean install Windows 10 again.
Hopefully the "white Dash - BIOS not working" will not come up again after installing Win 10.

    I will keep you informed.

So I installed Win 10 and BIOS is still working. So if anyone runs into the same problem... (BIOS not working ; White Dash; when installing Win 10)

    What I did:
    1. Revert back to Win 8.1
    2. Wait 6 months (suddenly my BIOS started working again after 6 months)
    3. Install Win 10
