    Hi Gents,

    Need your wise inputs.
What is the difference between the 2 models? Which one would you recommend more?

Specs wise, they are pretty similar:
    - Intel Core i7 7th Gen 7700HQ (2.80 GHz)
    - GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB GDDR5
    - 16 GB RAM
    - 1 TB HDD & 128 GB SSD
    - 15.6" FHD
    - Has USB type-C

Currently on sale with $100 MIR:
    - https://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/MSI2MIRsNov08Nov3017mw34.pdf
(MIR also available for GT73VR TITAN SLI-058, fyi)

Whereas the Raider is still the normal $1800ish price.

Which one would be the better option?
    Thanks.

Yeah, I was leaning more towards raider.
By holiday, when roughly? Christmas holiday?

And do you know which is better? (All same value - $50)

Go for Coollab Ultra on CPU/GPU (just make sure you get it done by a professional as its way too risky to do it yourself)

I have it on mine and I'm getting temps in 60s/70s (with undervolt) during heavy gaming sessions

The laptop is an absolute beast!

I see, thanks for the info. From the name itself, I thought Thermal Grizzly is better (sounds more badass) =P
I'm considering the Gentech promo that will change the paste for buyer, as stated by "Booting Up" above.

I would suggest Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on both. I have just bought the same from GentechPC. It's on the way, and I'm expecting great results.

Not saying coollab is bad, but my relative (from USA) spoke with the GenTechPC guy and we have come to an understanding that Thermal Grizzly is the choice for me.

Thermal Grizzly isn't as good as Coollab - there are other threads which show temperature comparisons between the various pastes. That said, Coollab is liquid metal so if it isn't pasted properly, it can fry your cpu (not an issue if you get it pasted from a professional seller as the risk will be covered in their warranty)

If the risk is still not worth the tradeoff for you then sure, you can go for Grizzly - just don't expect the same temps (because you def won't get them)

Hi. Can you please give me a link? I didn't find much when I looked earlier and am genuinely curious.
    Thanks.

How big is the difference between the two?

And by risk, it would be bad if we are taking the laptop away from US right?
Since it would be a lot harder to claim warranty. Would it still be risky despite getting the pros to do it?

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...t-vs-cool-laboratory-liquid-ultra-pro.791489/

This one says Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut is better, if I understood it right.

There will be a part where it says Cooler than Thermal Grizzly, he means Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut is cooler than Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut (another from Thermal Grizzly). It took me 2 readings to get what he meant :p

I personally prefer Thermal Grizzly as it will not fry your motherboard, so there's that too.

That poster above was mistaken. He was confusing Grizzly KRYONAUT with Grizzly conductonaut.
I would not suggest coollaboratory LU because they changed their composition some time ago and it is now worse than before, and more runny. Most people now think Grizzly Conductonaut is better and more consistent these days.
