    Hey everyone,

I also posted a similar thread in the ASUS forums - I'm hoping MSI lovers will provide a counterpoint for any responses I get there.

I posted a thread in the what computer should I get section, here. At the end, dtwn recommended I stop by the ASUS forums, so to be fair I'm stopping by here as well.

I'm deciding between the MSI EX625 and the ASUS X83Vm-X2.

So, you don't have to go back and read my FAQ, I'll be using it for watching DVDs, streaming video, writing papers, listening to music, and playing some games, such as WoW and Portal, but probably nothing cutting edge.

I'm looking to minimize weight and maximize battery life.

I'm hopefully going to decide today, so any thoughts would be helpful!

How can you compare the two? The MSI is the better choice. The 4670 which outperforms the 9600m GS 2 to 1. The 16" and the better resolution. While the Asus has the 2.13GHz processor, it really doesn't make that much difference over the 2.0Ghz processor. The MSI is $10 cheaper.
