-Here is the deal: I cant use Web camera on my MSI EX610. When i activate AveoCap software it says "You have no video capture device". When i looked into the device menager settings, i found out that computer is reporting that "USB 2.0 Camera" has no drivers installed. There is one more device that reports no driver, but i cant figure out which one it is as it only says "Unknown device". I installed downloaded drivers from official MSI site as my CD drivers were intended to be used with windows vista, and im running XP home edition. I've looked for a webcam turn on/off button on the keyboard but cant find any.
Any help will be appriciated, thanks.

Do you have the camera turned on?
There should be a softkey to enable/disable -
On the gx600 there is a webcam button near the power button.I just pressed it ,the webcam turned on and windows (XP pro sp2) automatically installed the drivers.

hi,
I have a different issue with the ex610's camera. under vista I'm experiencing very bad stutter when using the default resolution of 640x480 or higher. this is no issue under winXP, so it's likely the driver fault, but...
the problem is, I think this is happening with other usb devices also. I'm having this stutter issue under vista with my aver volar hx hybrid tv tuner as well.
as a result, I'm not able to use vista with this notebook and it's kind of frustrating. can anybody recommend a workaround? this notebook uses the RS690/SB600 chipset with a Radeon 2400HD.
thanks
