So my girlfriends computer recently got some HD issues, be it from a virus or whatever. It kept wanting to check the HD every time it ever booted up. So I wanted to see if it was the HD, or a virus, and figured hey, might as well format the comp to make it run smooth again. So I burnt the recovery disc, backed up all the data, went to format the computer, and it doesn't finish. It sits are 100% progress, and the time left goes into negative seconds. It basically doesn't finish. So I went to try the F3 recovery trick, and it says there is no partition.

So I'm basically wondering is there any place I can get the Windows 7 recovery disc for this computer since it appears the one I have is faulty? Or do I need to contact MSI customer support for help? Or if anybody has any other suggestions.

Thanks for your time and help!

All the windows 7 disc are capable of installing every version of windows 7 (Of course they do differ in 32-bit disc and a 64-bit disc).

What version of windows 7 the disc installs depends on the cd key you input. So find any friend that has a windows 7 disc and install it with your cd-key and you shouldn't have any issues.
