    MSI 9 Cell Battery

    RK Computers has the 9 cell battery available for the 1039, I bought mine with a standard 6-cell battery and I get about 2 hours of battery life. Does anyone have the 9 cell battery? What kind of battery life does it have?, and is it a great improvement from the 6 cell? I'm just not sure I'm ready to pay $139 for a new battery.

    Reduce the brightness of the screen when you go on battery. I reduce mine to 0 and I get about 4hrs of battery life. i do have a 9 cell battery.

    I forgot to mention that on my standard 6 cell battery with brightness all the way down, my video card clocked down for optimal battery life, and not doing much more than surfing the net I get two hours. I was not at all pleased with the battery life. Thanks for the figure though.
