I'm planning to get an official MSI 7970m instead of a dell or clevo one for my 1761. But it seems you need vbios with enduro off. I am not sure if that would be the case for the official MSI card. But since that card is more rare, I can't seem to find a msi 7970m vbios with enduro off. Anyone know where I can find one?

    Thanks.

I know there's one for the Clevo card, but as for the MSI counterpart, well... You can try contacting one of the users that have the vBIOS on hand here on the forums; I think Marecki_clf has one but for the Clevo version. Prema may also be able to help you.

MSI don't make a machine without enduro with the 7970M.

True, I heard the first version from DELL have a enduro off but you have to ask seller if is true before you buy it.

When they first came out I got a dell card for the 16F2 I had at the time and it worked just fine with the dell Vbios.

So I shouldn't buy a msi 7970m for 1761. I heard that with enduro on, it does not display and you need to bindflash to vbios with it off.

Dell cards are pretty easy to get a hold of and are made very well too...

So the bios are interchangeable (between Clevo and Dell). Am I right?
Is it possible to flash a Dell VBIOS to MSI card?

I found the MSI card (@ eBay) is quite cheaper than a Dell card.

    Many thanks in advance :)

Occasionally a used dell/clevo card goes for $350 - $400 on ebay. The MSI for $460 is still a bit too much for me.

I ended up purchasing a clevo 7970m, and had to flash to dell 015.017 vbios which is an early one. Later dell vbios might have issues. Check out tech inferno forums, theres a thread by svl7 on amd modified vbios.
