    Hi all,

I have recently built a msi 1722 and installed Windows 7 64 bit beta.
I love windows 7 but I am having problems with audio.

    1. the realtek drivers install but I cannot change speaker options (ie stereo, 4.1 etc) and there is no EQ tab which is normally available in realtek drivers.
Can somebody with realtek drivers with XP/Vista check that they can choose 4.1 for speakers and see if they can adjust EQ (you will normally see preset such as rock/pop etc)

    2. My Dolby theater software crashes. Can anyone who has this software tell me if it is any good?

I dont really want to go back to vista but these little bugs are annoying me. The sound isnt great from the speakers currently and I expected a lot better from a 4.1 laptop system.

I have installed them in compatibility mode and they seemed to install correctly. It seems to be functionalility from the realtek software I appear to be missing. I will try and find some newer drivers tonight

Any luck on those drivers? I'm planning on putting Windows 7 x64 on my 1722 id1 once it finally arrives (who ships parcel post these days????) and will likely come acros the same issues.

Anyone else using windows 7 64-bit?
