    Hi,
    Does anyone have an alternative source for the disassembly guide for the 1722? The one that gets quoted at my-msi.hit.bg is dead now. My power connector is dead and need to figure out how the heck to get the damn thing apart!

    I'd be interested in this too. But for your problem I'm guessing you can't just pop the bottom panel off?

    no, took out every screw I could find, took off the keyboard and screen and still couldn't work out what was holding the bottom plastic on!

    The motherboard has to be removed completely to get at the power jack. I'd recommend fixing it ASAP if it's going bad.
