Why did my original post dissapear???

Anyways... My question was why is the MSI 16F3 with the same specs as the GT60 about $200 cheaper? I went on powernotebooks.com and there 16F3 with around the same specs as the GT60 was way cheaper.

    Why was this?

And what is the diference between the two? Just because it is custmo built by powernotebooks.com?

    Thanks.

You can choose to get the 16F3 with Windows and the backlit keyboard if you want, the warranties will still be different.

Ive checked, you can get exactly everything the GT60 has and can get, that's why I'm wondering what the difference is...?

    Pretty much the appearance.

The GT60 has a lit MSI logo, the "S-Bar" touch strip above the keyboard, slightly different touchpad, and different LED's below the touchpad.

And I think the 16F3 looks exactly like the 16F2:

Correct, the only difference is the appearance of the laptop by what you have listed there. That and the barebones 16F3 does not have the fake aluminum finish, it's all plastic so you won't leave fingerprints.

Ok thanks to both of you. Also Since you are with powernotebooks, if i select the option to add the Steel Series Back-lit keyboard, will i get the exact keyboard the GT60 has? Or will it be a little different?

It is exactly the same keyboard you would find the in the MSI GT60 branded laptop...well save for one slight difference. The MSI keyboards are mounted with screws at the top of the keyboard, the barebones keyboard is held in by clips so the screw holes are cut off.

Oh one minor difference that makes no difference to performance.

GT60 comes with 3GB of Vram, the barebone 1.5GB.
