    MSI 1651 weird problem

    So ALL buttons on my 1651 will randomly stop working, including the power button. I end up having to disconnect the battery to shut it off, once it restarts everything works fine. any ideas?

    try re-setting the EC. (leave the battery and power cord out for 10mins).


    Maybe also update the EC and the BIOS.

    Hmm before you do that, rip the battery and power cable out, and hold power for 30 seconds, that seems to have solved some peoples problem in the past.

    But yeah, could be a case of just flashing it, or some failing hardware.
