if some one from MSI says that it is so, then ill believe it.
I may have gotten a guy who just diddn't know about it. Granted, they prob would alert the staff... but still

I contacted msi more then a week ago to make sure warranty covered the barebones I purchased since it was from a non-authorized reseller.

that means that they are not blacklisting non direct systems, meaning that there was no alert for them.
    Thanks for adding that!

So 85% other guy was a troll
15% he is actually right, and some how all the signs were missing.

I was informed that warranty was indeed covered but anything put into the unit would not be covered. Also any damages incurred while installing aftermarket products would not be covered.

At no point in time did they ask me where I bought the units or inform me of a possible theft/scam. I would think they would at least inquire or make mention of a heist.

Mine are 100% and as far as I know the others should be too.

Sorry, I know I am also a first time poster but I am going to try and add to that this story is not a lie.

Is the person I contacted to try and get a dvd drive. Call anyone that had a dvd or optical drive and they will tell you they cannot get more. MSI will only sell the dvd drives with the barebones at a 1 to 1 rate. RK Cumputers does sell the bezel so you can buy a slim sata dvd drive to place in it. CDW also had the drive for sale but can tell you the same thing. There was a thrid place I tried to source a drive from but it was also full of fail. Just an FYI could care less if you believe me.
