    hey guys I have the MSI 1651 ID2 and my 2, s, caps lock, x, and w key are only semi responsive. I know I need to replace my keyboard. I just want to confirm 2 things.     The disassembly guide is correct, but I don't know, where to buy the keyboard.

    I was able to find it for about 30$ shipped, somewhere.
    RKcomputer sells them for over 60$ shipped.

    Take it out and look at the manufacturer model #, then search that on google.

    One thing I would highly suggest doing is look for the newer keyboard that doesn't have the two \ keys. It was much better to type on.

    what keyboard is it? and the model number for the old computer is mp-08C23U4-359. Im still looking for a place to get it cheaper than rk

    Thats the OLD replacement. The ms-1652 shipped with that keyboard (yes, 1652 is older than 1651)

    Anyway I think that one sucks more. The arrow keys are shifted even more to the left and there are still 2 \ keys right next to each other.
