    Hello,

I'm trying to use the TV-out function of my 1029 lappy via an S cable. Everything works fine except that the TV shows everything in Black & White only.

I've tried chaning from NTSC to PAL but the problem remains. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

    Thanks,
    Claude

Yeah I had the same problem on my Ms-1003 laptop
It was the cheap cable.

if the S-video cable has only 4 pins then all you can get is black and white

    I bought a 8-pin S-Video cable it works great :D

    Good luck!
