    Hi guys,

I read in another posting that someone was having the same issue i was having. I tried to update my bios on my msi 1029 from v2.3 to v2.7 in the hopes that i can use the full speed of my ram at 400mhz. I made the boot disc and then inserted my bios disk and attempted to run the bios executable from the "A" drive. When I did this I recieved the an error. "Error unable to open ROM file." I am pretty sure that I did everything correctly but I still cant update the bios because of this ROM error. If anyone out there knows the solution or is having the same problem please let me know. Good luck and happy hunting.

    Thanx,

    -T
