Ok my brother has a MSI ms-16f2 that originally came with the GTX560m (only 1yr and 2 months old) and today it just stopped working. The laptop just shut down in the middle of use and when you plug it in the light on the power supply goes out. After testing everything we pulled the video card and now the system boots so needless to say his card bit the dust. He just started back up in collage he cant afford the $400 video card he wants and does not need.

I found this Dell Alienware M18x M17x M15X YT99J NVIDIA GTX 560M N12E GS A1 1 5 GB Video Card | eBay and was wondering will this work. Im the one who will have to pay for it so I want to keep it cheep so my wife wont kill me when she finds out.

If I have to dump a ton of money into it I'll give him my 670m and upgrade mine.

Yes it will work fine but you'll have to flash the VBIOS from a msi 560m.

OK bought the card now the next question. I have no problem flashing it but have never done it before. Do I blind flash it in his or do I install in in my MS-1762 since I have integrated graphics.

You can stick the card in whichever system you're installing it in and flash it from there.

OK next question old card is dead so I cant pull a back up. Were can I find a good vbios.rom? I found one on this site using search but it only seems to kill the card. When I flash I get no response (black screen) so I have to blind flash to get it back. I have it back now but need good rom to flash to it.

Yes. One results in a black screen the other is fragmented.

There's one straight from Dell: Driver Details | Dell US

You could ask Prema as well. There may be someone on the forums that has it and could upload it for you if none of your other results work.

I have come to the conclusion that the new card is damaged. I have tried every version of Dell and MSI vBios. The ones that work all have lines in the screen so as a last ditch effort I swapped the eprom from the old card to the new one with the same effect. So now I have 2 junk cards.

As a side note it had lines in the screen before I started all this I just thought this was normal due to being a Dell. That is why I thought it needed flashed. What is the need to flash from DEll to MSI?

If vga card is ok there is no need to flash vga bios even on dell. Also it is not good idea to flash dell card with msi bios and vice versa. All you need is to get good msi 560m if you are 100% sure that it is vga card problem. If you want to sell msi card we can make a deal but via pm. I have new 560m.
