I am running a T7500 in my MS-1651. I've installed all the drivers and also the SCM. Activating the various ECO modes works fine. However upon using the Turbo button, my system freezes, prompting me to press the power button until the unit shuts down. Since my CPU isn't officially supported I suspect that is why. Any other thoughts?

maybe the CPU you put in doesn't overclock very well, you could put a different T7500 in and it would go fine.

theser never really "supported" the t7 series. they work but as has been said they dont report thermal properly. could be an issue due to that as well

Mine does this too, with a T5550. I guess that's what I get for trying to save a few bucks and OC.

I do happen to have a second T7500 I can test out when I'm not lazy. I also have a T5750 i can throw it, but if the T5550 has been confirmed to do the same thing, it's a bit moot.
