I have the MSI 1058/s271 barebone system. It came with a bluetooth/wlan combo mini-pci card. This system is 64bit and I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit installed. The issue I'm having is that I can not get the combo card working. I've tried every driver I could find for it. When I push the wireless card button it cycles through powering the bluetooth/wireless/both. Vista recognizes that a new device is installed when the power button is pressed, but installing drivers is impossible. MSI says it's their own card, with further inspection I found that it may be made by ralink (possibly the MP54GBT2). Has anyone else had any problems with this combo card working in Vista Ultimate 64bit?

If you have the MP54 card from MSI then you may be out of luck. I bought the same card (it is very old now!) and no longer supported by MSI. The only drivers available are for XP and XP64. The card definately won't work under Vista64 as the XP64 drivers are unsigned. It's really too bad because I couldn't find another WLAN/BT card in mini-PCI format either. Anyway, best of luck!
