This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    MS-1039 Ship Date??

    Does anyone have a more specific availability date (US) than late Feb/early March at this point for the 1039 (or an estimated price)? I'm going to be in a position to purchase by the end of next week, would like the 15.4" size for portability (but want the 256MB video for gaming). If the 1039 is not going to be available, in the US, until mid-March, that's probably going to be too late for me, and I'll have to opt for the 1036 and deal with the larger laptop.

    Any thoughts on this??

    No firm dates or prices have been set by MSI. It's still expected toward the end of February with early March shipping dates.
