    I've got a bad mainboard on my 17621 GT70, can I buy a 17631 mainboard and swap? I've already torn it down and reassembled it, after attempting to remedy the issue. Which did not solve it.

    no, the HDD1 and the HDD2 adapter are different. you need also another CPU and an other lower case, because the MS-1763 has 1x HDMI and 1x Displayport, the MS-1762 has a esata on the position from the displayport.

    As iTzZent said, 1762 & 1763 are two different kind of product, and they aren't compatible with each other's chassis.
