    Hi all, I have broken the board that would turn the webcam on or off, is their another way to turn it on?

    The keyboard has no webcam button that i can see.

    I believe the device can be enabled and disabled through the device manager. Just go to imaging devices, usb 2.0 camera, right click and go to properties.

    My Device manager doesn't have a imaging device section, I believe that the USB port the webcam is plugged into is only activated when you touch the webcam thing on the touch sensitive board, because when it did work, touching the button would get windows to search for drivers or w.e you call the thing windowsdoes when u plug in a USB device.

    are you talking about the touch sensor board? going bad.
    Because I have a spare sensor Board I you want buy it.

    That seemsreasonable, but the laptop itself is kind of oldand almost broken, i don't think a 50$ investment is worth it if im going to get a new laptop.
