    Machine:
    MSI GT70-065US (stock config)
    8gig ram
    gtx770m
    I7-4700mq
    1tb 5400rpm drive
    Windows 8

    Build Quality:
There's one thing about it being heavy as a tank, it also feels as stable and sturdy as one. Back of the LCD barely gives at all, maybe 1/16 of an inch in the very middle. Everything comes together, no gaps/squeaks etc.

    Screen:
Rivals my Samsung LED tv, with the TV getting the nod of general color contrast. They're literally neck and neck, which in all honesty could come down to user preference, as colors are quite subjective .

    Keyboard:
Anyone that has done any research about MSI laptops know all about the STEELSERIES keyboard, top notch quality, tactile feel and I haven't had one "non user error" typo. Slightest bit of flex at the F&G keys, as to be expected. Not the least bit worrisome as you have to really press to get the bend. Under no way would you feel any flex or give with normal keyboard operations.

    Speakers:
Thought I had to done enough research before my purchase to know what I was getting into with the speaker setup, man was I wrong. These things amaze me, how they can get such volume and depth out of two little speakers and a sub (if you can even call it that). Then when you start tuning with the included Sound Blaster software, things really get interesting to say the least. The only time I have the volume over 50% is if I'm clear across the room cleaning or whatever. I had some people over Saturday night and this was easily able to keep the ambient music clear enough to be heard over drunken debauchery.

    Mousepad:
This is the one thing I've had a few issues with, it doesn't support two finger "click" scrolling to bring up the third wheel free scroll option. I also had an issue with the pad not waking back up after the computer being in sleep/hibernate mode, wouldn't have even noticed this as I always use a mouse. Just happen to be quite sick Sunday so I was in bed most of the day. I uninstalled it, let the driver install and then updated said driver, haven't had an issue... YET.

    Ports:
I really love how the display and power ports are on the back of the laptop, keeps things well out of the way and bodes well for the durability of the ac connecter itself. Speaking of the connecter, the cord is quite thick and just oozes of build quality. Seems as if I won't have any issues on the years that I'm hoping this computer will last.

    Gameplay:
I have Sleeping Dogs, Splinter Cell Blacklist, Skyrim, BF4, Metro Last Light, and Prototype 2. The only settings that get me below 25fps is Bf4 and Metro on ultra/very high quality with Tesselation enabled. From what I can tell, tesselation doesn't give you any major change to the visuals to warrant the drop in fps. Prototype/Skyrim don't even phase this thing, I even have 40+mods running on Skyrim.

That's about all I have, as the rest of the information is fairly vanilla and is listed on any sellers spec sheet. Don't have a comment on battery life yet, as I've been playing games etc so I need the power cord. I might disconnect it tonight and stream netflix until she dies, I'll report back with findings.

Like I said, mini review. If anyone has ANY specific question or gameplay video that they would like, just ask. As the computer is barely 4 days old, I'll keep this thread updated with anything that comes up, good or bad. I must say, after looking at benchmarks before my purchase, thought I knew the frame rates. Wrong again, It could be the new drivers, I'm leaning toward the 4700mq as there's not hardly any info out there with this exact CPU/GPU setup. Everything has been at least 10fps over what I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise to say the least.

I have a Heaven benchmark with different settings throughout being uploaded as I type, will update OP with said video when it's complete.

You're on stock cooling? I have the same system and my temps are higher.

Yes sir, not one temp has been over 65C, even the ambient temp at the heatsink.
