Hi All,
In inadvertently bought normal 1.5V sodimms and not the low voltage for my GT70. I installed and everything checks out and memtest shows no errors. Can somebody confirm that in this case my sodimms are running at 1.35V and that my 1.5V sodimms are not making the system run at 1.5? I just want to make sure I don't burn up my chips.
Thanks

You can install HWiNFO which will tell you.

The system will only ever put out 1.35V, locked by intel.
You are effectively overclocking the memory and it may or may not be completely stable. -

The chips can be identically marked but be binned differently during production, those might not be quite capable of 100% stability at 1.35V, then again they may have had an excess of chips that could, so some get binned down even though they are good, so it comes down to luck.
