Hello all, I've recently come across a small dilemma. Somehow one of the rubber pieces that gives the laptop friction on hard surfaces as well as elevation has fallen off, and I can't find it. It's the one in the top left corner near the battery on the GT627. Is there any way to acquire this rubber piece somewhere or create something similar? It's really bothering me because now the laptop slides around and rocks back and forth because it's no longer level...

    Thanks,
    -Audie

Any hardware store has the anti-skidmark rubber pieces for tables and chairs, maybe those might work.
Pencil eraser for temporary fix.(Not the kind at the end of a pencil but the bigger square ones you can cut down to size???)
Hey it's very cheap fix that will help with the wobble until you can find a better permanent solution.

Thanks for the suggestions -- I'll look for something that works at a store.

Does anyone know if there is any way to get the exact rubber piece from MSI? I sent them an email but no response as of yet.

Ok I got a response from the email I sent -- they want a picture of the laptop (I assume to verify that it actually is missing) and my mailing address. I think this means they will send me a replacement -- I'll update about this later when I know for sure.

what email address did you contact them at? i lost 3 rubber feet and called to get more, they charged me for shipping but sent me a new set.

now i am missing 3 again..my laptop goes in/out of my bag 5+ times a day, maybe its not designed for that.

but anyways, i'd like to get a new set, and superglue them this time.

I lost 2 of mine, but I ordered my laptop custom made from Avadirect... how should I get them? The support site on MSI USA doesn't seem to work...

last time i called them , i spoke to somebody in city of industry or LA or something, and they charged me like 8.00 or 12 or something for shipping (seems like a 4000% profit there),and mailed them out.

Also, it took like 2 weeks to get it, and they shipped it in a huge box lol a box of a motherboard.. hahaha

    but eventually i got it..

i'll try to find the number again, i need to order more anywyas
