 Don't know whether to put this in Wireless or MSi category. Anyway looking for a Tri-Band Wireless-AC card that will fit into my GT70. It currently has the Advanced-N 6235. Thanks

You might want to consider this card: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 you can buy this card in the mPCIe form factor that will fit in your laptop. All the never WiFi cards are M.2 and they won't fit your laptop.

I guess then a tri-band isn't possible in the mPCIe?

Doubt it, unless someone decides to support the older generations.
