    All,

Simple question: Where is the lid switch located on a MSI MS1221 (PR200)?

Back story: I made the mistake of bringing my MSI MS1221 (PR200) into a shop to repair the LCD. The problem was that the high voltage inverter had failed. While fixing this problem, the shop some how managed to screw up the lid switch, i.e., the switch that allows the computer to go into standby when the lid is closed. The even bigger problem is that the shop doesn't have a clue as to how to fix this because they claim that they cannot find the switch!

    Thank you!

Hahahha. They lost magnet. Take magnet and try on lower case where it should be situated. I think it is right lower side of LCD cover. Amateurs amateurs ;).
