I have a rebranded MSI MS-1039, sold as an Evesham Quest A420 Plus (specs in sig).
I've had it 14 months, and when I opened the lid this morning I heard a cracking/grinding noise. I saw a small piece of plastic had fallen out, and then I looked closer and saw the bottom right hand corner of the lid had cracked.
There was no indication anything was wrong before this happened, I had opened the lid an hour or so earlier and shut it maybe 10 minutes ago, no problem.
I do have some pictures if these would be helpful.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
If so, what resolution did you achieve? Was it fixed under warranty? If so, how long did it take? What do you think I can expect if it can't be fixed?
I have contacted Evesham and am awaiting a response.
I have the Gold warranty package, with 3 years in-home service, parts and labour, so I assume I am covered?
Any help or feedback would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Calum.
