My fan does have some noise to it, but not only that sometimes it can be very loud. It sounds almost like the fan is in super fast mode or in shock. The problem is that whenever it is doing this my laptop freezes. The only way to temporarily get rid of the problem is by hitting the bottom of the laptop until it quits. I am on my last thread with this laptop and I just bought it back in July

Have you got any temps? GPU? Could be overheating.
EDIT: Or your bearings could be shot. -
As far as i know, the fans hit super loud at 90C northbridge load
GET HWMONITOR SIR,
lets pin this problem down, or lambo could also be correct, the fan could be semi dead =( -
I think we may have scared him off. Can't blame him, you're scary cat...

sorry, I have been extremely busy, but I plan on sending it in sometime this week. I have been reading reviews on my laptop in the last week or so as to the problem to my laptop and it does seem that I am not the only one having this problem (not that it is a relief or anything). I love my laptop and its going to be hard to part with it for a couple of weeks. If it doesn't solve the problem I may end of selling it and getting something else. ;(. I would get MSI again but they really don't have anything comparable to my current laptop under $1K.

Good to know your sending it in, but yeah its definately going to be overheat, could be a bad thermal paste job, a possible loose heatsink, a bad fan, any of those!
Hope it comes back to you at best speed. -
Thanks, it is supposed to arrive on the fourteenth. I just hope they were able to fix the problem.
-
Hope everything goes well though! -
My laptop is back! It is so quite that I can't tell it is even on or not. lol

Great news! How long did the whole thing take all up?
-

Yeah, the only time my 1651 souded like a hair dryer was when I forgot to screw the gpu heatsink back properly...
-
LOL! I only got that from crazily OCCT power testing my 1722, but after an undervolt, knocking 12C off the CPU and NB, all went back to peacefull

I didn't quite understand your question, but it is sounding very quite. From now on I will consider an MSI products first.
