    Hi

    Could you guys help me a bit with my Ge72vr 7rf.

    I am planing to put LM on my cpu (7700hq) and gpu (GTX1060).

    Until now I repasted my cpu and gpu with Phobya Nanogrease Extreme and changed the thermopads for Gelid GP Extreme 12 W/mk but even with undervolting my cpu(-0.160 core and cache , -0.100 igpu, and -0.50 system agent and analog io using ttstop) gets hot to arround 87 while gaming and my gpu maxes out to around 75 (0.85v core with custom curve set to 1823MHz and Vram oc to 9500MHz from 8000 MHz).

    While I am quite happy with gpu, I am not with cpu. I tried also Kryonaut but preety much the same.

    Then i thought of Conductonaut to put on cpu and gpu.
    I m waiting for scotch 33+ to put around dies and motherboard, but I m also thinking of making some sealings to prevent LM for spreading around mobo.
    I thought of creating sealing from Alphacool thermal tape 0.5mm thick after puting vinyl tape. What do you think about this?

    I m also wondering about my Cpu temps becaus while idle, temp is almost the same across cores with 1 or 2 C difference but for examplen when I stress cpu with Prime two cores are around 87C and other two are reaching 96 and this is cousing throtling. Probably the same happens while gaming but with less temp beacause cpu is not streesed that much. What do you think about this?

    Thank you in advance

    @Krzyslaw
    Before you repaste, can you please post a screenshot of your cpu temps after doing 3 consecutive runs of "Cinebench R15"?
    You can use HWinfo64 to do that. Need to find out if LM will help you or if you have a problem with the heatsink.

    Thank you.
    A 7700HQ is a locked down 45W chip that should never even exceed 75C on stock paste on a MSI laptop, unless something else were very wrong.

    OK, I hope i will manage to post screanshots on friday. I am at work now. Yesterday I gave another chance to Kryonaut after polishing heatsink with GG extreem to remove any copper oxidation and by now temp was not more than 74 (mostly around 71) during Fifa 18 play when all cores where runing. and 71 (mostly 69) on GPU. I didnt have time to make some more test with GTA 5, Mafia 3, UT, PARAGON, Fortnite, Metro and also Prime95 and other banchnarks. I will observe situation and I try to post screenshots on friday. But it the temps will be fine I will stick with non metal paste I think.
