    Hello guys,
I have some issues with the keyboard. It happens very rarely but still it bothers me why. Sometimes after I power on my laptop keyboard does not work. I think it happened the first time after some win 10 update. Does somebody have a similar issue? I tried to update SteelSeries engine but did nothing.
    Thank you all!

That is a strange one. There could be a couple of different issues going on here. I would first suggest turning off your "fast boot" option. if your keyboard ALWAYS works in BIOS it is most likely a windows issue and turning off fast boot may fix that issue. If it has issues even in BIOS it may be related to the keyboard ribbon cable.

Thank you for your answer! I hope it is not cable because it is only happening for example ones in 10 days. Maybe it is started happening after I bought 970 EVO SSD for my laptop. I can not test it in BIOS because I do not know when it is not going to work but when is not working just simple reset is enough to make it work again. Fast boot is a very good idea, I will try to switch it off. You mean in win to turn it off? In bios is already off.

We have the same model, but I don't have any memory of that situation happening to me. When was the first time it happened? You mentioned probably after a windows update. I am running the latest updates and havent experienced it yet. Will check it out today.

So the keyboard stops working regardless of it being in windows or not or during booting of the system, you stated that the bios setting for fastboot is disabled so to me it's more then likely the cable.

Are you able to check the keyboard cable to insure it hasn't just come loose?

If it is already turn off in BIOS then it should be turned off.

The keyboard does not stop working, just sometimes when I boot up win 10 after the laptop was turned off does not work. I do not know if the keyboard is working in BIOS because I do not know when is not going to work. It happens very rarely, once in 10 days or so. If I boot up win 10 with working keyboard, it is going to work all day long. Just I said again once in 10 days from cold boot does not work. After that I just do a quick reset and everything is working for 10 days or so. Very strange :D
