    Hi guys,

After a long commitment to my Alienware M15x, I've decided to buy an MSI GT70 2OD-064US on Amazon and I am expecting it to arrive on Tuesday

So The one I bought does not have any SSD in it, instead it comes with a 1TB regular hdd. (I am little short on money so all I cared was the 780M and how affordable it was.) Anyway, sooner or later my financials will improve, and when that time comes, will I be able to add 3 msata disks to get super raid 0 config? I saw some videos on youtube and saw that msatas are on a separate board that is separate from the motherboard. Will I have this empty ssd board even though I didn't choose an ssd as an option?

    Thank you.

Since you did not order the MSI with the SSD option, the laptop will notcome with the mSATA board. You will have to purchase that on your own, it won't be that expensive, and the ability to add up to three mSATA ssds will benefit you will down the road, My MSI has an 128gb msata, and not only do all the programs on my msata drive load really fast, the boot times are great, even though windows 8 already reduces boot times. I have battlefield 3 on my ssd, and combined with my 16gb of ram, the load times are great. I used to play Bf3 on my old toshiba with a 560mgtx, and the difference is night and day. Sometimes battlelog doesn't automatically go into games, but for the most part, this thing flies! For the price, you made a good purchase, the 780m is able to handle anything on the highest of setting except crysis 3, but even then, you need something like a TITAN to play it maxed out at higher than 30+ fps.

Thank you, I am patiently waiting for my Msi to arrive :) do you know where I can find the msata board you mentioned? I'd like to get an idea for it's price.
