Is there an MSI laptop that is the same as the GT627-218US without the Blu-Ray drive?

Or maybe a way to customize it or something?

Looking for an MSI model that has the 9800m GS, the 9-cell battery, everything the 218US does only no Blu-Ray drive, because I could care less about it and I'd rather not pay the extra money for something I'm not gonna use.

    Thanks~

a little bit off topic buddy, your best bet is to just get a 725 and drop a blu ray in it man, itll do just fine,

as for the new guy who somehow fried his laptop with no battery or power, how the hell did you do that dude, thats a real trip.

and all this talk about stolen laptops, gettin me all worried guys.

Oh by the way on the subject of cooling your machine, darth if you still have the standard paste on there man ditch that crap, grab some arctic silver, that should help with temps, i keep my 9400 cool all day, cruizes at like 50-60c oced, and the gpu chills at a good 60 or so

    update...
this is gettin kinda creepy now, my s/n is gone from the box but is on the laptop, maybe this thug wasnt soo smart.... or maybe its legit... sp0o0o0oky. (man i hope i have a warranty -_-)

Well yeah, something like that would be perfect. My only problem with that specific one is that the processor is weaker and the screen resolution isn't as good.

As for the second poster, uh, I think you meant to post in a different topic because I have no idea what you're talking about.
