    Hi,

I'm planning on buying a MSI GT80 Titan SLI Gaming Notebook

My dads helping me out and would like to know,

What is the difference between the GT80 TitanSLI-009 and the 2QE versions?

I'm in Canada and I've heard that one of them is USA only even though the store I buy from in Canada ships from USA anyways to Canada and I've heard from some Guy from the UK on a review on youtube that theirs a UK only version too?

I'm a little confused could someone help me out and explain the difference between the different codes at the end of the GT80 names and explain the difference for me ,

Thank you to anyone that can help me :)

The codes at the end mark the internal components but they cannot be used to compare machines between regions, only within their original region.

Best thing to do is compare components like which CPU, how many GPU's and which they are, RAM, SSD. Once you have the specs you're looking for narrowed down then you can look for the one that meets your needs. If you are ordering from a US seller I would be on a US version.

That's called a BOM or sub-model number indicating a specific type of configuration as well as region that it's available.

I'm still new to these codes, Is their a way of knowing what I'm getting into with the codes? I want the GT80 with the higher CPU and SLI 980s with the 8gbs of VRam on both GPU's plus the higher ram,

I just don't know which one would be best to choose, I'm in Canada not US but the stores I have deliver to me usually come from over the border.

So If I order from Amazon Canada and it's 2QE is that's safe right?

You will only be able to see the differences by comparing the spec between two different models, however you won't be able to access something like full spec comparison chart since it's probably internally available within MSI.

2QE is the primary model/series which represents the latest generation as of now.
