    Hello,
Take a look at thos laptop
    https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Fangbook-V-Extreme-VR-SLI-1070-Gaming-Laptop
It has a i7 7920hq along with 1070s in sli!!
    That only at 2600$!!
Just want to ask is this an msi barebone laptop with same mobo as of msi gt83vr??
Asking cause i live in india and want to buy it, so in case of a problem like motherboard failure or anything can i go to an local msi service centre in india and get it repaired (i will pay for it obviously)

correct, but good luck getting a good laptop without issues from fangbook.

Also, I'd take a single 1080 GTX over 1070 SLI any time of the day. As you may know, SLI support in games has been plummeting so bad and a lot of games don't scale well, just warning you.

Don't expect local msi service centre will have it in stock (Soon EOL MB). It's a Jokebook (BGA). You will have to look for parts MB on web stores as Ebay osv. And you will have to deal with this!!

Hard to call it a barebones when the CPU is soldered and not replaceable.

I guess if you have the skill and able to source a better processor, you can still change it yourself. :p

A ton of complaints and problems on consumer affairs (1.5 out of 5)

    https://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/cyberpower_pc.html

They also have a very poor reputation among the enthusiasts here.

*I* am not disappointed with them personally, every one here (the enthusiasts at least) know they're a crappy company with lack of quality. Also, don't buy from HIDevolution, they're too expensive for you.

I suggest you look up some good deals on the MSI GT83VR on Amazon or perhaps see if GenTech PC of Xotic PC has any special deals on them. go with the cheapest option you can find

You are screwed with wrong bios if you need repair (if you can't reflash to orginal bios before RMA). And cross flash ain't recommended.

You can crossflash anything with a SPI programmer.
Whether you choose to is on you.

keep in mind that MSI GT73 and GT75 (and logically, even though I haven't SEEN it, the GT83) have TWO Bios chips. main and backup. One is on the backside of the motherboard.

IF you have a programmer, yees. And have you seen two bios in action if you brick your laptop? Not many talk about this feature. Either they have had good luck - don't know about it or if it work as intended. Flash back and forth with different bios, EC and ME versions is not good. You will run into problem in the end.

Okeee, but still what could possibly go wrong?? I mean its a msi laptop, so the build quality must be good(right?), i heard they get late in delivery(which is a no prob for me) and reg their customer service, if i need any i can ask msi.
