Just wondering for any who have purchased the GT725-75US version, if they have upgraded to the 64 bit OS. Was it worth it? Did you run into any driver conflicts. I am thinking of getting this laptop and I looked on the MSI site and they only list 32 bit drivers. I read a Tom's Hardware article which indicated there may not be much benefit to upgrading to 64 bit currently. Any thoughts? Also, for anyone who currently owns the US version with the WUXGA 1920x1200 screen. Do you have any screen bleed problems that have been mentioned?:confused2:

Many users on this forum use 64bit and have little issues. Most drivers nowadays come in 64bit version as well as 32bit and software compatibility isn't as bad as it used to be in the days of XP 64bit. Only really old programs should be incompatible with 64bit.

64bit has many pros & cons compared to 32bit and many threads on the forum note these comparisons so just look around.

The truth is that all programs are compatible with 64 bit as a 32bit program's instructions will be converted to 64 bit and then processed, so it makes it slow.

If your lappy comes with quad core then definately go for 64 bit.
Additionally you get to use full 4gb ram!

RAM seems to be the main people switch to 64bit, when I'm sure half those people never need to use more than 3Gb lol :p

To be honest, RAM isn't 64bit's main selling point. It's overall more efficient and more stable than 32bit is. I mean, it's the next architecture. Most CPUs nowadays are also 64bit so they can perform well under the architecture.
