Can anyone check their device manager and tell me what IrDA chipsets you all have? Preferrably someone with the MS-1036... but any other models like the 1029/1039 would probably be helpful...

I've been trying to get the IR working under linux but can't seem to control it, it doesn't seem to be any of the common standard chipsets. I figure it probably shows up in Windows at minimum, hopefully with some detail as to what kind of chip it is... but I don't know as I don't have Windows installed ;-)

A post a while back indicated that the 1029 should have one... they said that they could cause their TV to change channels by running something on the lappy. I know for a fact the 1036 has one... I was able to get it to respond ONCE where I could press buttons on my remote and it would hide the mouse as if I were typing... but not again since.
