    Hey Guys,

Is it worth buying CPU, SSDs, RAM, & Blu-Ray Player separately from online and replacing it with generic one on GT70?

I will be voiding warranty if I do replace CPU right?

Why not buy it from a reseller and configure you specs online?

    It is expensive that way.

For instance, if I buy i7-3720 from reseller it cost around $350.

If I get regular i5 from reseller as it comes; and then buy i7-3720 for $350 from online. This way I am getting extra spare i5.

Also, storage devices are much cheaper online than what resellers offer at.

Only thing I am worried about is voiding warranty ...especially with CPU replacement
