    I had that just happen to me. I can't believe they ship laptops that sound like that out of the box. I seriously thought the speakers were blown.
    Additional note: in my case the latest Nahimic would not install with the audio driver the laptop came with. So I had to upgrade the audio driver first, then install the latest Nahimic.

    If you have Windows 10 and have problems installing drivers (in my case it kept reinstalling the preinstalled drivers), you'll have to disable a few settings. For some reason when I installed a different version I lost my ESS Sabre HiFi icon for my headphones but I got it back by installing the latest one 8036 from station drivers rather than the 8010 from MSI's website. Works well with the latest Nahemic.

    Yes, to avoid this issue always make sure you install the latest audio driver first and then the Nahimic software to avoid issues.
