    Just making sure that if I get one off of Newegg that I can still get the free Windows Upgrade in October.

    Also a side question: If a laptop has a BD combo (bluray drive), can I still burn regular DVDs on it?

    Yes, you get the Windows 7 offer, and I'm pretty burn you can burn regular DVDs on it, since the bluray drives are usually bluray/dvd combos.
