Hi,
I can't seem to get the heatsink off in my GT627![]()
Any advice, maybe a disassembly guide?

Remove the fan 1st then everything should fall apart -

It's not the same in the disassembly guide, I don't see any screws holding the fan.
Do I have to take the whole thing apart? -
you have to unplug the fan cord connects to motherboard,
unscrew all the screws for cpu and gpu and you just push to the right a little and pull a little and thats all. -

Let me just say, it's a real pain to get the stock thermal paste off. It was like plastic.
Anyway, cheers for the help -
Hey, moral hazard I see that you have solved your problem, but anyhow, save this somewhere ... you never know what will come up to your head next.

I don't know how to get the touch sensor thing off (the thing with the power button). I already chipped some paint.
I want to pin mod the PLL, but I can't even take the notebook apart -
moral, try again.
I've uploaded the files again, because I found that the archive files of MS-1651 are no good. If it's not working again, send me your e-mail with PM and I'll send it to you there.
I'm stupid, can somebody tell me how to get the CPU heatsink off (MSI GT627)?
