    Hello.

I want to unlock BIOS on MSI GE70 0ND 216.

I downloaded the BIOS from here:
    https://www.msi.com//Laptop/support/GE70_0ND#down-bios

    Downloaded flash from here:
    https://forum-ru.msi.com/index.php?topic=85630.200#msg_415286
Here is the link from the post:
    https://yadi.sk/d/Ou_1vbao3K9nWu

Opened the downloaded BIOS using AMIBCP. Put User where I need it. I saved it.

Formatted the flash drive using HPUSBDisk. I uploaded the files there from the archive that I downloaded above. And the unlocked BIOS file.

In BIOS, instead of UEFI, I installed Legacy boot.

Booted from a flash drive. Entered the command:
    AFUDOS E1756IMS.10F / p / b / n / SHUTDOWN

    I got an error:
    Error: Problem getting flash information

Tried doing the same with E1756IMS.514. We got the same error.

    How do I fix it?

Be glad you didn't brick your laptop..
Check what is your chipset, then on win-raid forums grab the correct Intel ME Tools version, use Flash Programming Tool to dump your BIOS, do the AMIBCP editing, then flash back again using FPTW, all on windows, no need for a usb bootable drive.

    Can you clarify?
I want to connect an external video card to my laptop, as is done in this video:

But the video talks about the MSI GE70 2PE laptop. And I have MSI GE70 0ND. Can I do this on my laptop?

As I understand it, I need to unlock the BIOS in order to access the Graphics Configuration setting. Am I right or can I do without unlocking the BIOS?

You can just switch to the iGPU using the SCM application on Windows and skip modding the BIOS.

If you really want to, you need to use HWInfo and check what version of Intel ME firmware do you have, depending if your laptop is running ME v7 or v8 you will need to use different versions of the FPTW util:
    https://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html

You can also request a BIOS mod at that forum on the requests sub forum, but I dont think you need to do so, because you can just switch to iGPU using the SCM/touch button.

    Thanks for the answer!
    Can you clarify?
I want to connect an external graphics card to my laptop via this docking station:
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32824725772.html
Do I need to tweak my laptop in order for everything to work? Or is it enough to buy a video card, power supply, monitor, docking station for a video card, connect to a laptop, and everything will work?

Will this work specifically with my laptop model?

And I will not need to do any complex settings, for example, unlock BIOS?

Can you give a link to a video on how to set up the connection of an external video card without unlocking the BIOS? To make it work for my laptop model.
I saw only a video where a person's BIOS is unlocked. And I attached a link to it above. I wonder how to do this without unlocking the BIOS.

You should go over to eGPU.io site because you might need to run their script(the so called setup1.3 program) at startup so the eGPU works.
I never used an eGPU so I can't say you how it will work on your specific laptop.
It should work, but its rare the case where its plug and play.

The unlocked BIOS is only used to force the laptop to only use the iGPU, nothing else, and you can do that using MSI SCM program so there is no need at all to unlock the BIOS, it should even work if you have the dGPU as the main GPU even.
