Can anyone please tell me how to do this? I thought about simply deleting it by using Partitionmagic, but then I figured my laptop might not boot anymore. So what's the best thing to do?

Why don't you just leave it? It should be less than 5GB usually and isn't really taking up that much space??

Yeah, but since I've recently upgraded to Vista, my C drive is already half full for some reason. I already have the original recovery DVDs and now a Vista DVD as well, so why not make use of the lost space?

You can probably delete it as you said with partition magic, be careful it may not reconize the partition because vista is on it. The recovery partition should be a hidden partition.
