    Hello Community

I´m trying to install windows 8, because i don´t like the 10 on my machine, but the problem is that the Super Raid 4 (2 x NVMe M.2 SSDs by PCIe Gen3 X4 in RAID0) doesn´t appear in the select menu of windows 8 instalation, only the 1TB one, and a BIOS partition, both say they are GPT formated, and that windows 8 can´t be installed in any of them.

Is there any solution for this?

Thank you very much for your help

You'll need the text inf files from Intel's site. That'll tell Win 8 how to talk to the RAID controller. You can download them and put them on a USB. Just plug that in while Windows setup is loading.

You'll need to do this anytime the chipset is newer than the OS.

OK so I manage to install windows 8.1, putting the RAID drivers, in the same USB pen, and then chose them, in the drive menu of win8.1 install "load controlers", then the RAID drives appear.
Now I have only 1 issue, I manage to install all the drivers, but the realtek high defenition audio driver, when I install it, I get everything proper installed and fuctional, but I have no sound.when I unistall the driver , with windows sound driver installed I have sound.
I tried installing old and newer versions of it, made another win 8.1 clean install, read hundreds of forums, and I just can't have sound on this thing.
I need some expert help to solve this one.....it's the only anoyng issue........sometimes after install the driver "higinim" , says that it's no realtek installed to.....

I'd suggest making sure you installed the latest Intel chipset drivers. I'd also go to Realtek's website and download the latest drivers too.

Well I have the latest Intel chipset drivers installed, and from the realtek site, the driver doesn't install, it says that the package it's not for that system. ....only downloaded from the manufacturer is possible to install. ....and I try them all.....since I install anything related to realtek audio, the sound emidiatly doesn't come out......
