I've been wondering, is there a way to enable two-finger scroll on MSi? I was expecting this when buying this laptop but the vertical scroll that the sentelic provides sucks.

If anyone does know how to do it, please teach me. Any advice would be a great help. Thanks

    you can check for it.
go to Run>[type] devmgmt.msc [press enter].

Device manager will open up. Scroll down to "mice and other pointing device".expand it. In thr drop down list if it says "synaptics PS/2 port touchpad' then you have a synaptics controller.

    If yes, then proceed below:

1)click on the small arrow in taskbar and expand it. Look for a small touchpad icon and double click it.

    2) You will see synaptics properties window open.

    3) Click on Device settings and click on settings.
A new window will open. From there, go to scrolling>two finger scrolling>Enable vertical scrolling/ horizontal scrolling.

Thanks, Nuaron. It'll help me for sure. I'll just download the Synaptics touchpad then.

Btw, should I download the program(Synaptics) itself? or just download the drivers of the synaptics touchpad since I already have the Sentelic touchpad. Thank you for answering.

I am sorry if i missed over the obvious fact. If you dont have synpatics driver, i am afraid the above steps doesnt apply to you. these are for synaptics touchpads only.

Incase of sentelic touchpad, there is a mouse icon in the notifications area on your taskbar. Double-click on it to open.

Go to the tab, "Finger Sensing Pad" and click the "Configure" button , then expand "On-pad Functions" and select "Two-Finger Scrolling", then checking the appropriate checkbox. also, you should remember that Two Finger gestures must be enabled under the "Gestures - Tailor-made" item for these features to work.

Let me know if this works for you!
