    How much does the battery stick out of the GT627-218?I

    I've heard that the 9-cell battery sticks out a little out of the back of GT627-218...does anyone have any pictures or something? This is the only thing that's really bugging me from buying the laptop. Will it get in the way or look awkward?

    Ugh, that looks like it sticks out a lot...can someone who owns the notebook tell me how it affects them?

    And if someone knows of a 9-cell battery I can buy that doesn't stick out that would be great, thanks.

    Yes, it is really bad, I have to sacrifice a goat to it to keep it from killing people.....

    :) I have a nine cell on my gx720 that sticks out but I don't even notice it.

    It really does not affect me. It still fits in the backpack provided even with the battery on.

    I want to ask what is the difference in battery life? I mean how many hours you can use it on battery? I have 6 cell battery and Vista shows about 3 hours and 15 minutes, but using it just for browsing internet it goes up to 2 hours and may be 15 minutes... So how long it goes with 9 cell?
    Otherwise it really looks bad with 9 cell. But I might need it.

    It's not that bad. I get a bit over 2hours with the 6 cells and almost 4hrs with the 9 cells.
