    How much does the MSI GS40 6QE 082NE Phantom weigh?

    Hi,
    just bought a MSI GS40 6QE 082NE Phantom.
    Everywere I can find on the internet, it is specified weighing 1.6 kg.
    Right out of the box, it weighs 1.9 kg!

    Does anybody have the same machine - and what is the weight, if you measure it in reality?

    MSI Support says, it should only be something around 42 gr more than the MSI GS40 6QE 011NE Phantom.
    If anyone have this model, is the actual weight 1.6 kg?

    Looking forward to hear the results - as MSI Support cannot really give me any explanation and just says "We have a disclaimer saying specifications may differ"...

    Its possible that meant without any hard drives and ram installed or something.

    They haven't specified that anywhere - neither answered that from support.
    Of course, it's without the power supply (which I obviously did not include in the weight) and yes, I did check with another scale...

    Most sites will just post the basic weight of the system provided by MSI, not including the charger. But the actual weight can vary slightly by configuration.
