I have searched for it in the control panel, there is no blue icon anywhere to be found. I've searched through the start menu, in my tray icon, and there's no shortcut buttons [that i know of] that will turn it on. However, there's a LCD light that's turned off with the icon labeled as bluetooth. Also my laptop was advertised to have bluetooth, and I even have a little sheet that says it has bluetooth. I can't find it anywhere.

My laptop is MSi-1683 and recently had to reinstall the OS[windows 7]. I looked for the software, and reinstalled it. But when it comes to installing the bluetooth itself, it says "Intalling Bluetooth driver...." followed by "Please plug in the Bluetooth device and click OK button." What should I do? How do I get this to work?

There's no way to press it, that's the thing. It's just an LCD light that's turned off. As in, no button, unless it's the same one as the wifi one. Either way even when I do press the wifi one, its still turned off.

There should be a keyboard shortcut, Fn + F9 I think. If it is not F9 look at the F keys, there will be a BT icon on one of them.

No, it actually took quite awhile for me to find my model, apparently its a "A6000-029US" I could only really find one close up picture of it.

The keyboard and the buttons look like this. [Ignore the button in red highlighted, its the only one I could find.]

I also took some pictures of the buttons of mine since you can't really see the LCD lights below the mouse pad button.

I really cant figure out how to turn it on
I found my manual though and uploaded.
Help would be very very much appreciated. I'm sure I'm just being dumb and overlooking something. :S

You said you had the MS-1683 which has BT, pretty sure your A6000 does not have BT installed. There are quite a few A6000 variations with different features. According to the MSI website your model does not have it.

What? It doesn't have bluetooth? D: To give people false hope like that X( It has the LCD light for it, and a pamphlet that says it has bluetooth, and even had the bluetooth software [before I had to reinstall it] To not have it, that's outrageous...
I don't really know how identify if it would have it physically. Perhaps I can open my laptop and take a picture? :S I could know once and for all if it does have one or not.
